Booking Your First Session

Step 1: Search for Cages

Start by entering your location in the search bar on the CageList homepage. You can search by city, ZIP code, neighborhood, or even a specific address. Our search engine will show you all available batting cages within your area.

Step 2: Choose Your Cage

Click on any listing to see full details including photos, amenities, location, reviews, and pricing. Pay attention to:

• ✓Reviews & ratings — See what other renters have said
• ✓Amenities — Pitching machines, balls included, lighting, etc.
• ✓House rules — Age restrictions, max occupancy, etc.
• ✓Cancellation policy — Flexible, Moderate, or Strict

Step 3: Select Date & Time

Use the booking calendar to select your preferred date and time. Most cages are available in 1-hour increments. If you need multiple hours, you can book consecutive time slots. The calendar shows real-time availability, so what you see is accurate.

Look for multi-hour discounts and recurring booking discounts if you plan to book regularly.

Step 4: Book & Pay

After selecting your time, you'll see the total price breakdown including the hourly rate and CageList service fee. Choose your payment method (credit card, debit card, or Apple Pay), review the cancellation policy, and complete your booking.

For Instant Book listings, your reservation is confirmed immediately. For Request to Book listings, the host has 24 hours to accept your request—you won't be charged until they accept.

Step 5: Prepare for Your Session

Once booked, you'll receive a confirmation email with the cage location, access instructions, and host contact information. Before your session:

Clean up any trash, turn off equipment, and lock up as instructed. You'll receive a review prompt via email—please leave honest feedback to help future renters and support great hosts. If you had an issue, contact CageList support within 24 hours.
