Keyboard navigation
All interactive elements — menus, booking flows, search, filters, and forms — are reachable and operable by keyboard alone.
Commitment
CageList is committed to making batting cage discovery and booking accessible to everyone, regardless of ability or assistive technology.
We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. This is an ongoing effort — not a one-time checkbox. We test with automated tools, manual audits, and assistive technologies including NVDA, VoiceOver, and keyboard-only navigation.
Last accessibility review: June 2026.
These principles guide every component and flow we ship.
All interactive elements — menus, booking flows, search, filters, and forms — are reachable and operable by keyboard alone.
We use semantic HTML, ARIA labels, and descriptive alt text so screen readers can accurately convey page structure and content.
Text and interactive elements meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios. We do not rely on color alone to convey information.
CageList is fully functional at any viewport size, including zoom levels up to 400%, without loss of content or functionality.
Interactive targets are sized and spaced for touch use, with no gestures required that cannot also be performed with a single pointer.
We write in plain language, avoid jargon, and ensure error messages describe what went wrong and how to correct it.
We believe in transparency. The following areas are actively being improved:
Some user-generated content (listing photos, host-provided descriptions) may not always include complete alt text. We are improving host tooling to encourage accessible uploads.
Third-party embeds — including Stripe payment forms and certain map views — are governed by their own accessibility standards. We choose vendors with strong accessibility commitments.
The interactive cage calendar uses custom components that we are actively testing with assistive technologies. Improvements are ongoing.
If you encounter a barrier while using CageList, we want to know. Email us directly and we will respond within 2 business days with a path to resolution or an accessible alternative.
We are committed to responding to accessibility feedback promptly and never requiring a workaround as a permanent solution.
